17th Century Cavalier Scene Miniature Painting art nouveau It's beautifully workedDATE: 17th Century Framed miniature painting depicting a cavalier scene (?) with soldiers and villagers in various stages of revelry, dated 1683. Some are dining on trestle tables, others dancing, and some clinking beer mugs on horseback all taking place around what appears to be an army encampment on the outskirts of a Tudor village, a lake and mountains in the distance behind. The detail is fantastic, it's signed to the bottom left corner but
