For use with 6 lb. and 8 lb. flat and pick head axes. Axe blade rests in holder slot, protected and ready to be quickly lifted free. Slot is 5 3 4" L x 3 16" W at center. May be mounted horizontally or vertically. Note: A flexible, UV resistant draw latch can be used in conjunction to secure the handle end, see Model VM AHB.
