It does NOT have a center hole or grommet in the canvas. The pole is 62 inches long. We use UPS for all orders. The box for this item is long and the reason for the additional shipping fee for complete umbrella with hardware. Dimensions Each of the umbrella's 4 sides is approx. 54".
