DAPPLED THINGS Hand Dyed on Twinkle Sock - Assigned Pooling Yarn may25-2 Raphael stopped by an inn
Description
Raphael stopped by an inn one day and discovered he had no money when it came time to pay
It was inspired by the elegant but playful costumes in Venice the day before Lent begins
The predominant color is blue
This is such a fun colorway but one with some meaning too
I included a photo of some yarn I was spinning using these art batts
DAPPLED THINGS Hand Dyed on Twinkle Sock - Assigned Pooling Yarn may25-2 Raphael stopped by an innI named this colorway after a line from Hopkins' poem, "Pied Beauty." It's an assigned pooling colorway where the assigned color is a beautiful royal blue and the other three quarters is a mixture of lilac, violet, purple, and a bit of white. YARN BASE I dyed it on Twinkle Sock, which is made of 90% superwash merino and 10% sparkly lurex. It's a lovely base for shawls and cowls and hats.
