Pair of Vintage Bavarian Animals Pheasants & Deer Doe in the Forest Plates Green Trim gray transferware Markings: as shownFrom one of Germany's most highly regarded porcelain manufacturers dating back to 1866 is this sweet pair of corresponding dessert salad plates each detailing different Woodland animals. One plate features a Doe and her fawn while the other depicts a pair of pheasants. The forest scenes are from antique engravings. There are ferns, mushrooms and other woodland plants. They are trimmed in green around the rim with a raised scrolled design.
