Azienda Agricola Paolo Bea 'Pagliaro' Montefalco Sagrantino Secco, 2019 Cabernet Franc a grower-producer known for hisPaolo Bea's 'Pagliaro' is made from 100% Sagrantino, the fabled grape of Montefalco in Umbria. The Pagliaro vineyard is 1,300 feet above sea level, and contributes an ever lasting acidity to the already powerful Sagrantino grape. The wine sees a 40 50 day maceration, and then is aged for 1 year in stainless steel, followed by 2 years in large oak, finally resting for one more year in bottle. The resulting wine is finally soft enough to drink, and has
