Rare Vintage Spode Copeland Byron Pastoral Blue Transferware Platter Child Dog The Cow Doctor preserves pot urns and scrollwork with Pagoda'sHere is one of my favorite transferware designs ever produced on Staffordshire pottery. This is a large turkey sized platter by famed English potter Spode in the difficult to find pattern entitled Byron. Each piece in this series depicts a different scene of rural English life. The scene is from the antique engraving by Tschaggeny and appeared in 1849 1912 in the Art Journal, published by George Virtue & Co, London. The Byron pattern was seldom
