Vintage English Advertising Cow Butter Tub Faux Bois Wood Barrel Resting Jersey Cow Lid Top pastoral scenes with cattle and sheep First produced in 1832 byA lovely, vintage faux bois English butter tub in the form of a wooden barrel and lid with a dairy cow resting on top. The lcow is hand painted (under glaze so it's permanent) with shades of golden brown and its resting in a patch of grass. It's so cute! Perfect for any French or English Country kitchen! I posted about these on my blog and acquired a collection of 15 or so. I'll be adding them all to my site as I'm able. Measures 5 across x 4 1 2"
