Late Victorian Sapphire & Diamond Gypsy Band Size:7.5 and has survived the bestDATE: Victorian, c. 1898 Charming late Victorian gypsy ring with sapphires and diamonds in pretty star settings. The row of stones is flanked to either side by engraved, owl like scrolls and English hallmarks to the inner band indicate 18 karat gold and the year of production as 1898. Beautifully made with a shallow D shape profile that rests low on the finger. The S. U maker's mark I believe relates to Solomon Ullmann, who had a shop in Hatton Garden
