It is a brushed up version of a standard product of Seigado, a metalworking workshop in Niigata Prefecture. After copper is melted and made into a sheet, it is hammered into shape using a technique called "Tsuiki" to create a seamless piece. This products is part of a project launched by Niigata Prefecture under the theme of "Tales of a Century," products to be used for the next 100 years. It is
