The three motifs Anchor for hope, Cross for faith, Heart for charity are skilfully worked in silver and set with diamonds, and arranged around the heart, for as the apostle Paul said: Now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. It probably started life as a pin or charm, but sometime in the distant past
