They're crafted in bright 15 karat yellow gold with gold ear wires (later added)
each one featuring a serpent coiled around an oval amethyst cabochon
tests as gold filled

Each one is set with a flat cut, foil backed almandine garnet, with 15k yellow gold backs. They were originally screw backs however we added 9k gold wires.
