1920s Gilt Tomato Box modern between the two halves ofDATE: Art Deco, c. 1920 Cool antique box formed in the shape of a tomato, complete with sepals (the green leaf things at the top) and stalk. It's heavy, likely crafted in gilt brass, and I have no idea what its intended purpose was. For storing next year's tomato seeds, perhaps? Dates from the Art Deco period, circa 1920.
