Vase with Butterfly by Nancy Briggs Type_Game he named them MThis vase is made of white stoneware clay. Black underglaze is applied to the unfired ware, then light carving (sgrafitto) reveals the white clay. The piece is then bisque fired and a colored transparent glass is applied and then the piece is fired to cone 6. Dimensions: 6 tall x 3. 75" in diameter. Handmade by Nancy Briggs of Des Moines, Iowa.
