The flavors in Old Ezra 7 Year seem very well suited for winter's darker days: Notes of cherry, marzipan, figs, and a hint of anise play alongside the charred oak and vanilla. Though it's perfectly enjoyable neat, a few drops of water open it up a bit. And at its very reasonable price, it's an excellent option for a barrel strength bourbon.
