The title, Stella, is meant to be a play on 1) the name of a woman who is of the stars, and 2) the deep, textured grooves, a la "Stella got her Groove Back". Acrylic & Paste on Canvas. 48 x 36 x 1. 5in. 2024. In Stella, deep texture and celestial light converge to reveal a semi abstracted portrait of a woman emerging from a landscape of the cosmos. Circular ridges created with texture paste form the rhythmic
