Antique French Regence Carved Walnut Provincial 3 Drawer Commode Chest Lyon 1730 Sold by Spanish sculptor Gustave ObiolsA good & substantial antique French Lyonnaise carved walnut Provincial three drawer commode chest, in the Regence style, Lyon, France, circa 1730. The commode being of serpentine form and having three large drawers, each drawer is carved with Rococo scrolls and shell motifs, the drawers with gilt bronze handles and escutcheons.
