Late 1930s Black Crepe Dress with Lace Insert Typewriter Upcycled disco bralette created usingThis stunningly simple, yet glamorous evening gown probably dates from the late 1930s. Gathered and ruched to the side with a lace frill, the dress also has a delicate lace panel at the top of the bust line. There is another small gathered detail below the waist in the back of the gown, and a short slit 12. 5 inches 31. 5 cm from the bottom of the hem. The dress measures 53 inches 134. 5 cm long at the back and is secured with its original side zip.
