There is smocking the the waist for ease and suit closes with a back metal zipper

Side zipper has been replaced with a modern invisible zipper but it was expertly done and you cannot see it

1940s Ivory Satin Dressing Gown by Tula 1940_pumps Skirt is straight but not1940s ivory rayon satin dressing gown by Tula. Bodice has shirring at shoulders and waist and short sleeves with bow accents. Shoulders are padded and front closes with a series of button and loops. There is an attached waist tie and can be tied front or back, I've shown both. Very glamorous piece, satin has a beautiful drape. Excellent condition overall but there is one spot on the back of the skirt, nail polish perhaps. Otherwise minor wear
