Instead of metal, Aalto opted for bent birch wood and a construction that appears light and functions well in everyday life. This particular piece was once sold through Wohnbedarf, and parts of the stamp are still visible. The backrest made of braided textile strips and the dark upholstered seat give the chair a calm, graphic presence. Good condition with minor signs of wear.
