Wild Animals Colouring Book - Rop van Mierlo exhibition Robert VenturiRop van Mierlo is known for his wet on wet painting style, which leads to amorphous, fuzzy shapes. But through his skilful application, these vibrantly colourful blobs are still recognisable as various animals. Colouring Book, however, takes a different approach. Here Van Mierlo uses strictly black paint to produce his signature images of animals such as a snail, dolphins, frogs, bears, seahorses, and even a tarantula, leaving you in true colouring
