Lee’s Retreat
Five stops of the over 20-stop driving tour, Lee’s Retreat, are located in Amelia County and allow visitors to follow the Route of General Robert E. Lee’s Troops from Petersburg to Appomattox during the final seven days of the Civil War in April 1865.
Tour Stops: South Side Station, The Breakthough, White Oak Road, Five Forks, and Sutherland Station.
