Central High School
Charlotte County – One of the 53 sites along the Civil Rights in Education Heritage Trail®. Central High School opened in 1939 and remained in operation until 1969 when schools were consolidated during integration. Central High Museum houses a unique collection of items that reflect the daily activities of students and recognize the accomplishments of alumni.
