Occoneechee State Park

On Buggs Island Lake, Occoneechee State Park is ideal for fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, horseback riding, and boating. There are campsites, cabins, picnic areas, amphitheater, wildlife areas, hiking trails, and boat launches. Pontoon and fishing boats may be rented. Visitors experience Native American history at the museum and visitor center.
