This newly renovated open-air market makes Saturday mornings in Kenbridge a good time to find local produce and handmade goods from June to October. Fresh and organic produce are a common commodity in the Farmer’s Market and at local produce stands in Kenbridge and Victoria.
Approximately 5 miles of trail are available for visitors to traverse on the Tobacco Heritage Trail. The Historic Kenbridge Community Center, built in 1921 and recently renovated, hosts community theatre, Chamber of Commerce concerts, and school shows. The Town of Victoria hosts Autumn Day the second Saturday in October and Small Town Christmas the first Saturday in December.
The Historic Lunenburg County Courthouse dates back to 1827 and is a good site to set off on the Lunenburg County Historical Society’s “Driving Tour of Lunenburg’s Historic Treasures”, a list of over 30 stops to see all the structures and sites devoted to our history.
